Antonella Benanzato
Antonella Benanzato was born and works in Padua. Musician and painter, the artist brings the music he composes onto canvas. Abstractionist, he works with oil and mixed techniques on canvas, forex panels and fabrics. Its chromatic scale corresponds to the music she devised on the basis of the frequencies and pitches of the sounds . He studied with the artist Maurizio Paccagnella. His interior portraits have been exhibited at the Stables of Palazzo Moroni in Padua. For years he has been conducting research on the effects of sound and color on meditative and non-ordinary states of consciousness. Issues he has addressed with neuroscientists and quantum physicists. “When I was 7 I was composing on the piano, and each of my creations was always accompanied by a drawing that represented my music. Each note was a color, each sound a shape, each shape a movement. Music and color are my language ". The love for art in all its expressions accompanied his studies and research. The in-depth study on creative mechanisms, on synaesthetic aspects has always been at the center of his interests. Each artist has a macrocosm that is declined in microcosms, and each microcosm is a work of art. The revelation of this universe allows access to the macrocosm from which it arises.
