Sonia Ceccotti
Sonia Ceccotti , a young artist of Florentine origins, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and won a scholarship at the Academy of Fine Arts in Seville for the Nude School. Ceccotti's paintings, very sensual and intriguing, show great mastery of drawing and sign using the charcoal technique on corrugated cardboard.
All the works of Sonia Ceccotti are linked by a common thread that makes them unique: irony! The decision to work on such a serious support; difficult like corrugated cardboard, it comes from an artistic maturation that distances it from the classic canvas and oil colors. His figures, mostly female, are portraits and self-portraits with a fun and sensual flavor, highlighting great mastery of drawing and sign. Many of his works have appeared on the covers of the best art and fashion magazines, such as Espoarte, Arte Mondadori, Elle. Among the most important exhibitions in which he participated, the one at the Milan Triennale and the Art Biennale in Bangladesh.
