Michele Liparesi (Bologna, 1986) lives and works in Bologna, Italy.

His interest in sculpture began while studying at the art school and subsequently led him to graduate from the Academy

of Fine Arts in Bologna and Florence. Then a Masters in Granada

The Bestiary series arises from the need to find a material (and therefore a language) that can represent our age, our daily life. The nucleus of this work consists of the figure of an animal that enters into a relationship with the surrounding environment, becoming an integral part of the place that hosts it.
