La vie en rose
Descrizione
The works of Marlene Compostella represent faces of sweet and sensual women. Her exquisitely figurative contemporary art painting is distinguished by the original technique patented by her. It uses pure pigments mixed with hot resin that drips in various layers, thus making the face emerge three-dimensionally. He then closes the work by spraying the resin around with the drip painting technique like Jackson Pollock, the great artist of American abstract expressionism.

Marlene Compostella
Marlene Compostella was born in Bassano del Grappa in 1975.
Thanks to her studies in the field of painting and restoration, she experimented with the fusion of pure pigments with self-leveling resin and understood all the possibilities and chromatic advantages that these two materials could offer her. Through soft masses of colors spread with elegance and precision, it is able to involve the viewer in an almost three-dimensional and nostalgic dimension.
