The pictorial work "shoes" cm 150x100 oil and acrylic on canvas, is part of the pictorial cycle set within the ballet schools much loved by the great impressionist artist Paul Degas but interpreted in a modern key. His contemporary figurative art always has a surreal and plastic cut. In the works of Andrea Baruffi, whatever thematic he deals with, his exquisitely ironic and optimistic American spirit is noticeable.
