Iskra Shahaj

Iskra Shahaj is a contemporary artist born in Vlore in Albania, currently living and working between Dubai and Italy. The attraction for art begins from an early age and will lead her to attend the art school in the city of Vlore and to move in 2006 to Italy, more precisely to Ferrara, where she will live for many years.

The peculiarities of Iskra's painting are found in the representation of female figures and in the theme of loneliness, aimed at representing a moment of recollection with oneself.
There is no narration, but reflection, waiting and introspection. It is a moment captured during the day.
